JULY 2 & 3 Bizaar, BBQ and Fiesta held at LCS. Thanks to the hundreds of donors and dozens of volunteers, the event was a success. Sales of Bizaar items exceeded $40,000 pesos. Gratifying results were also reported by the Library for sale of books and videos, the Cruz Roja Bake Sale, and the Food Court. Fifteen local authors were kept busy selling and autographing their latest tomes. The proceeds from this event and the Casi Nuevo Thrift Shop benefit the children of the Lakeside School for the Deaf, the LCS Community Education Program, and Have Hammers…Will Travel. (see pix)
